Remote Connect
With the Toyota App and Remote Connect (available on select 2020 and newer models), you can start or stop the engine, lock or unlock doors, and check the status of your vehicle—all from your smartphone. Enjoy added features like Guest Driver Settings and Driver Score.

Engine Start / Stop (Available on select models only)
Allows users to remotely start or stop their vehicle’s engine on select models using their smartphone. Simply press and hold the start or stop button in the app’s Remote Connect section; the engine will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if the vehicle remains unused.________________________________________
Door Lock / Unlock
This feature lets you lock or unlock your vehicle remotely using your smartphone, providing peace of mind by ensuring your doors are secure after you’ve walked away.________________________________________
Status of WindowsWith Remote Connect in the Toyota App, you can remotely check if your windows are open or closed, helping you stay informed about your vehicle’s status.

To access these features, enrollment is required—except for vehicles without an SOS button. You can easily enroll through the Toyota App (if equipped with Remote Connect) or by connecting with a live agent using the in-vehicle SOS button.

Stolen Vehicle Locator
In the event your Toyota is stolen, Stolen Vehicle Locator can assist in its potential recovery. If this occurs, please follow these steps:1. Report the theft to local police and obtain key details, including the report number, the officer’s name, and badge number.
2. Call Toyota at 1-888-869-6828—available 24/7.
3. Provide the call centre agent with the police report information.
4. Safety Connect’s Stolen Vehicle Locator will coordinate directly with local authorities to help locate your vehicle.
If your vehicle is found, the reporting officer will contact you directly.

Emergency Assistance (SOS)
Toyota’s Safety Connect system offers 24/7 emergency and roadside assistance through the SOS button, connecting you to a live agent who can dispatch help. It also automatically detects severe collisions and airbag deployments to initiate emergency calls..________________________________________
Enhanced Roadside Assistance (An active roadside assistance plan is required.)
With an active roadside assistance plan, Toyota’s Safety Connect lets you use the SOS button to get 24/7 roadside help sent directly to your vehicle’s location for issues like a dead battery, flat tire, or running out of gas, including towing and rental car support.
